During her career in civil litigation and family law, long-time Calgarian Julia Turnbull has focused on finding, encouraging, and championing the qualities she believes will create a bright future for Canada. Established by Julia Turnbull to recognize future leaders, the Julia Turnbull Leadership Award supports graduating Grade 12 Calgary students who have an active and engaged interest in leadership.

Four or more awards at $1,500 each, applied directly to tuition.
Applicant must:
- Be entering their first year of full-time undergraduate studies directly from Grade 12 from a Calgary Board of Education, Calgary Catholic School District, or Calgary Charter School.
- Demonstrate outstanding commitment to school and community leadership, through initiative and volunteerism. Preferably engaged in student politics (student council, student union, Model UN, etc.), youth councils or committees, and/or debate or speech clubs.
- Provide one letter of reference.
