In memory of Michael Gee, a 15-year-old U18 ‘A’ hockey player with NW Calgary Athletic Association. This award is based on hockey and academic performance and open to Calgary residents graduating Grade 12 playing hockey in the Calgary Minor Hockey Association – U18 Boys AA or AAA (major), U18 Girls AA or AAA.

One award, valued at $2,400, applied directly to tuition.

The recipient is eligible to claim the scholarship funds when entering post-secondary education.

Applicant must:

• Be nominated by their coach as most deserving player on the team (only one nomination per coach).
• Be a Calgary resident playing hockey in the Calgary Minor Hockey Association – U18 Boys AA, AAA (major), U18 Girls AA or AAA.
• Be graduating Grade 12.
• Have achieved a minimum of 82.5% at their educational institution.
