The Umpire Memorial Scholarship shall be awarded to an affiliated member of the Alberta Softball Umpires Association (ASUA) or can be a son or daughter of a registered umpire.

In order for your application to be processed and eligible, the following must be provided:

• Applicant must have attended the Minor Umpires Camp, or have umpired at some level of Softball in Alberta, or must be the son or daughter of an umpire who has been registered for five (5) consecutive years with the ASUA.
• A brief essay describing an experience from your own life that has influenced the kind of umpire you are or would like to be on field.
