Programs that share AWSN's goal of championing women, girls, and marginalized communities in the STEM sphere are now invited to submit funding applications for 2025.

Last year, we granted over $30,000 in funding, backing an expansive set of initiatives. This included everything from high school robotics teams and undergraduates participating in global competitions to underwriting speaker fees for events reaching diverse demographics and STEM sectors throughout Alberta. The application gateway will remain accessible until 11:59 PM MDT on August 6, 2025. Please keep in mind that the portal will shut down at this point, with no chances for extension.

To submit your application, fill out the form provided below and append your answers to the application inquiries prior to the cut-off date. Decisions regarding funding will be concluded by the end of August, and all applicants will receive notifications by the start of September, with the funds being allocated by the end of October.

It's important to note that AWSN is incapable of supporting for-profit ventures, food expenses, or volunteer appreciation initiatives.
