Eligibility

Open to students registered in grade 12 who are completing the requirements of a high school diploma. Applicants must have demonstrated academic progress and have a minimum 70% average in grade 12. Applicants are required to submit an original essay of approximately 500 words on their passion for education and why they would like to pursue a career as a teacher.

Selection & Payment

Recipients are selected by September. To claim the award, within one (1) year of notification of award the recipient must be registered in an eligible program of post- secondary study of at least two years duration. Payment will be made to the post- secondary institution.
