Applicants must have a minimum average of 60% or better in: English 30-1, Chemistry 30, Biology 30, Math 30 (Pure). All applicants are encouraged to obtain a high-school diploma, as some employers may require it. Computer Skills: To be successful in all NAIT diagnostic imaging programs, basic computer skills must be acquired by the student prior to admission, including word processing, presentation (PowerPoint) and e-mail skills. Instructional staff will expect students enrolled in these programs to have these basic skills and may expect learning, assignment submission and some educational interaction to occur via computer. International Applicants: As English is the language of instruction in all NAIT programs, adequate knowledge of written and spoken English is a prerequisite. Regardless of country of origin or citizenship status, all applicants must demonstrate English-language proficiency prior to acceptance. Foreign credentials must be evaluated by the International Qualification Assessment Services branch of Alberta Employment & Immigration. Please call the IQAS at 780.427.2655 for more information. The Career Investigation is a report applicants prepare as part of the application process for many full-time programs at NAIT. The information contained in your Career Investigation must convince the Admissions Committee that you are serious about the program you hope to study at NAIT. Applicants to the Combined Laboratory and X-ray Technology program must complete a specific Career Investigation. This report cannot be submitted online, but must be mailed to NAIT or brought to the Registrar's Office.
