What you need to get in to the Construction Engineering Technology at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology?
Applicants must have successfully completed: English 30-1 or 30-2; Math 30 (Pure) or a minimum of 60% in Math 30 (Applied); one of Physics 20, Chemistry 20 or Science 20. Applicants presenting other Math and English courses (for example, the previous Alberta Learning designations of Math and English 30 or 33) will be considered on an individual basis by the Registrar. Upgrading may be required. An interest and aptitude for applied sciences is a definite asset to anyone considering this program. Applications are reviewed based on academics and submission of a Career Investigation report. In addition, applicants to the Construction Engineering Technology program must attend an interview as part of the acceptance process. Students are required to have a laptop computer for the duration of their studies at NAIT. The use of laptop computers provides the students with the opportunity to learn widely used professional software.
