What you need to get in to the Diagnostic Medical Sonography at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology?
60% or better in each of English 30-1, Math 30-1 (Pure), Biology 30, Physics 30 and Chemistry 20. Students in this program must have basic computer literacy, which includes word processing, spreadsheets, Internet and e-mail. International Students: As English is the language of instruction in all programs at NAIT, you must have an adequate knowledge of written and spoken English as a prerequisite for admission. Regardless of country of origin or citizenship status, you must demonstrate English-language proficiency prior to being accepted. Foreign credentials must be evaluated by the International Qualification Assessment Services branch of Alberta Employment and Immigration. Please call IQAS at 780.427.2655 for more information. Applicant Residency: Applications will be accepted from residents of Alberta, Northwest Territories, British Columbia and Saskatchewan only. Lloydminster residents are considered Alberta residents. A maximum of one applicant from each of British Columbia and Saskatchewan will be accepted into this program. Applicants must be prepared to provide proof of one-year residency (prior to the beginning of the program) in the province from which they are applying. Career Investigation: The Career Investigation is a report applicants prepare as part of the application process for many full-time programs at NAIT.
