What you need to get in to the Electrical Engineering Technology at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology?
Students must have successfully completed: English 30-1 (English 30) or English 30-2 (English 33); Math 30-1 (Pure) or Transitional Mathematics 101 or Algebra 35 (with a 65% average); One of Physics 30, Chemistry 30 or Science 30. Applicants with other math courses like the previous Alberta Learning designations of Math 30 and Math 33 will be considered on an individual basis by the registrar. Math updating or upgrading may be required. An interest in and an aptitude for physics is a definite asset. Student selection is competitive and based on criteria that may include academic achievement beyond the stated minimum prerequisites. Completion of a Career Investigation is required. Contact the Registrar's Office for current information about selection criteria for this program.
