What you need to get in to the Network Technician at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology?
An Alberta High School Diploma or equivalent with 50% in each of the following courses or their equivalents: Pure Math 30 or Applied Math 30 or Math 31 and English Language Arts 30-1 or English Language Arts 30-2. Experience with computer hardware and/or operating and networking systems an asset. If the program is oversubscribed, additional selection criteria may be used. Qualified candidates will be interviewed to ensure their suitability for the program. Completed SAIT admission application form that includes a non-refundable application fee of $35 (cheque payable to SAIT) if paid in person at SAIT Customer Service; or reduce your application fee to $25 when you apply online. One page letter detailing your background, career goals, and how you expect this program will help you achieve these goals. Current resume outlining your educational and employment history. Personal interview with the Program Coordinator. Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate a fluency level of 8 for all categories on the CLBM Assessment Test. Once you have been accepted into the program, there is a $250 tuition deposit that is required in order to guarantee your seat in the program.
