What you need to get in to the Drama at University of Alberta?
For B.F.A. (Drama) Acting: Successful completion of 30 units of course weight, transferable to the B.A. program of the Faculty of Arts; six units of which must be junior-level English. Remaining units are optional (Humanities, Social Sciences, and Fine Arts courses recommended). Maximum of 12 credits in Drama. Maximum of 12 credits in non-Arts/non-Science courses. Addition requirements include an audition and an interview. Contact Drama Department before applying. For B.F.A. (Drama) Design and Technical Theatre: Standard admission with English Language Arts 30-1 and four of Biology 30, Chemistry 30, Pure Mathematics 30, Mathematics 31, Physics 30, Social Studies 30, Science 30, 30-level language other than English, Fine Arts Subject (only one Fine Arts Subject may be presented for admission). Additional requirements for B.F.A. (Drama) Design include: portfolio, completion of an assigned design project, three letters of reference. Additional requirements for B.F.A. Technical Theatre include: letter of intent, resume, three letters of references, interview. Contact Department of Drama before applying. Early Application (Feb. 1) encouraged.
