What you need to get in to the Music at University of Alberta?
For B.A.: Standard admission with English Language Arts 30-1 plus four other approved Grade 12 subjects from the Humanities, Fine Arts, and Sciences. Only one Fine Arts subject may be presented for admission. For BA (Honors): Entrance ordinarily takes place at the end of the first year of University study. For B.Mus. (General, School Music) and B.Mus./B.Ed. (Secondary) Combined: English Language Arts 30-1 plus four other approved Grade 12 subjects. Only one Fine Arts subject may be presented for admission. For B.Mus. (Performance, Composition and Theory, Music History, World Music), there is no direct admission from high school. Contact Faculty or Department for specific academic requirements. Apply before May 1 for aural and music rudiments exam and audition. Applicants are encouraged to apply for admission as early as January 1.
