MSc. Normally a minimum of two years are required to complete the M.Sc. programs. Students have a maximum of four calendar years to complete this M.Sc. program.

What you need to get in to the Occupational Therapy at University of Alberta?
For M.Sc. with thesis - There will be no further admissions to this program. Applicants are recommended to consider the M.Sc. in Rehabilitation Science program. For M.Sc. course-based (effective 2007): The deadline for receipt of applications is February 1 for September admission. Minimum requirements include a baccalaureate degree from a recognized academic institution with a grade point average of at least 3.0 in the most recent 60 credits. Activity courses in Physical Education, studio courses in Fine Arts, and practicum courses are not considered part of the required 60 credit admission requirements and are not included in the calculation of the admission GPA. One Statistics course is a required prerequisite. Applicants are required to submit a cirriculum vitae in a pre-set format including a list of referees who may be contacted via telephone, and a persomal statement letter describing the applicant's knowledge of occupational therapy and what the student can bring to the program. The selection process is competitive. Applicants are initially rank ordered according to their Admission GPA. Applicants who have completed 30 credits over two consecutive terms will be ranked above those who have taken fewer than 30 credits.
