MsC; PhD; The time required to complete the M.Sc. in Medical Sciences (Orthodontics) will vary with the individual candidate, but normally the program can be completed in three years. The Ph.D. in Medical Sciences (Orthodontics) program is a five-year full-time program with clinical training integrated into the first four years.

What you need to get in to the Orthodontics at University of Alberta?
For M.Sc.: Applicants must have completed an undergraduate dental degree with a grade point average of at least 3.0 (or an equivalent qualification) in the last two years of their dental program. The committee considers the applicant's experience since graduation. As part of the class selection process, chosen applicants will be invited to an interview. Admission is dependent upon the recommendation of the Department of Dentistry Graduate Committee and the Medical Sciences Graduate Program Committee. For Ph.D.: Normally, one student per year is admitted into the program. Contact Faculty or Department for specific academic requirements.
