What you need to get in to the Education at Red Deer College?
This program is available to students who have completed the first two years of the BEd Elementary program or have completed an approved degree. Thirty six (36) students are selected on a competitive basis for admission into the program. (This is a collaborative degree where classroom study is on-site at Red Deer College and the degree is granted through the University of Alberta.) Although all courses are taught on the campus of Red Deer College, application for this program must be made to the University of Alberta. Because there are more applicants to the program than there are places, enrolment management is in effect. Under enrolment management, an overall target of 36 new admissions is set for the program. A minimum AGPA for applications is set each year; all admissions are competitive, and the actual admission AGPA may be higher.
