Program Description: This program is a comprehensive heavy truck driver training program which will provide skills necessary for participants to gain employment as drivers or owner operators. It provides practical training in the operation of a modern tractor-type truck and trailer. Students advance through a series of practical exercises involving rural and urban traffic circuits under actual driving conditions. Entrance Requirements: 18 years of age. Completion of Grade 9 or equivalent, or Program Coordinator approval. Recent driver's abstract. Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License. Alberta Motor Vehicle Operators Medical Examination.
