What you need to get in to the Physical Wellness and Youth Leadership at Portage College?
The Physical Wellness and Youth Leadership program is designed for individuals who wish to work within communities to promote health and well-being through fitness, health promotion, health education and community development. The main focus of the program is improving health and wellness conditions in communities, including helping communities tailor services to fit their individual needs, developing preventive health solutions and emphasizing the value of leadership and citizenship training. The program content is developed around physical wellness with a special focus on youth leadership and development. Admission Requirements: Educational-Completion of Grade 10 high school with Grade 10 English, or equivalent, or mature student status. Documents-High school transcripts or letter of support from an employer, if applicable. Criminal record check-Signed criminal record check waiver form. Up to date immunizations. Other-Interview with program coordinator may be required.
