The Pre-Technology Certificate program is designed to assist students at the Grade 10-12 levels wanting to enter a technical or trade program with high school mathematics, science and/or English as entrance requirements. This program prepares students to write an Alberta Apprenticeship Branch Trades Entrance Exam (3, 4 or 5). Entrance assessment (Canadian Adult Achievement Test C), high school transcript (if applicable), written composition, training plan and interview. Career Potential: Pre-Technology prepares students for further technical skills at the college level. Students can write the Alberta Apprenticeship Branch Trades Entrance Exam (3, 4 or 5) leading to a career in an apprenticeship trade.
