227 Hour Licensing Program - 3 Phases - Phase 1: Introduction to a Career in Real Estate, Phase 2: Fundamentals of Real Estate, Phase 3: Areas of Practice (Residential, Commercial, Rural, Property Management) - prepares you to write the Provincial Real Estate Qualifying Exam (Real Estate Council of Alberta). 90% attendance and minimum grade of 70% on exam. Mandatory program to become licensed to sell real estate in Alberta.
What you need to get in to the Real Estate Associates Program at Mount Royal College?
Proof of the following requirements must be submitted to the Alberta Real Estate Association (AREA) prior to registration: Completed AREA application, Canadian High School diploma or equivalency (official transcripts), Photo ID, Proof of name change (if applicable), criminal record report, record of fingerprints. Must successfully complete Introduction to a Career in Real Estate course & exam. Note: Persons convicted of a criminal offence in the past five years may be ineligible for licensing as a broker, associate broker or agent.
