What you need to get in to the Painting at Alberta College of Art and Design?
Students may declare their major in Painting upon completion of a minimum of 60 credits including First Year Studies and all 200-level courses required for the major. (See the Programs section of the ACAD website for more details.) Students must be in clear academic standing in order to declare their major. Transfer students are encouraged to apply and should see www.acad.ca for admission information, transfer credit and art portfolio guidelines. The Painting Major offers students the opportunity to develop a strong art practice in painting, media, photography and the interdisciplinary approaches of performance and installation for professional artists.
