Nipissing University is a small liberal arts university located in North Bay, Ontario, Canada, overlooking Lake Nipissing. Nipissing features two exceptional faculties: The Faculty of Arts & Science and the Faculty of Education. Both offer students valuable experiences that are often overlooked at larger universities.
The Faculty of Arts & Science has a unique ability to offer undergraduate programs with graduate level experiences. Students have the opportunity to work with professors on graduate level research projects, giving them a leading edge when applying to grad school or entering the work force.
The Faculty of Education has innovative and renowned programs featuring the Iteach laptop initiative and 13 weeks of practice teaching in a one year Bachelor of Education degree. The Faculty of Education also boasts a Master's of Education program and Additional Qualification courses where graduates can upgrade by correspondence.
