What you need to get in to the Petroleum Engineering Technology at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology?
Students must have successfully completed: English 30-1 (English 30), 30-2 (English 33); Math 30-1 (Pure) or Math 30 or a minimum of 60% in Math 33; one of Science 30, Physics 30 or Chemistry 30. Note: Entrance into this program is academically competitive. An interest in, and aptitude for, applied sciences, especially those with a chemistry and physics base, is a definite asset to anyone considering this program. While a high-school diploma is no longer a prerequisite for entrance into NAIT programs, some employers may require a high-school diploma as a prerequisite for employment. Graduates of nationally accredited and/or recognized technology diploma program with a minimum GPA of 2.3, will be eligible to enter years 3 and 4 of the NAIT Bachelor of Technology in Technology Management program on a competitive basis.
