What you need to get in to the Nutrition and Food Science at University of Alberta?
For Nutrition and Food Major and Food Science and Technology Major: Standard admission with English Language Arts 30-1, Biology 30, Chemistry 30, and Pure Mathematics 30; plus one other approved Grade 12 subject (Physics 30 recommended for the Food Science and Technology major). Contact Faculty or Department for specific academic requirements. For Nutrition and Food Science (Nutrition Major): Admission takes place after at least one year of univeristy studies. Students normally complete their first year in another major in the BSc in Nutrition and Food Science degree program. Students must take at least 24 credits that are transferable to the program. Consult faculty for required courses. To become a registered dietitian, students must complete an undergraduate degree with a major in Nutrition and a dietetic internship.
