What you need to get in to the Mental Health at Northern Lakes College?
A) Academic Requirements-1. Must be 18 years of age, have a High School Diploma, with 60% in English 30-1 (English 30) or 70% in English 30-2 (English 33) OR 2. an assessed English equivalency AND B) Other Requirements-Students who meet the academic requirements will be mailed an information and forms package and asked to present the following: Criminal Record Check (please see note below); three (3) letters of reference; Personal Written Statement; employment/work history/education (i.e. Resume); relevant volunteer experience would be an asset. Note: Field placement agencies may require a Criminal Record Check and a Child and Youth Information Systems Check of students placed in their organizations. The inability to present clear checks may mean a student may not be able to complete the requirements of the program. Contact the program coordinator for further information.
