The length of time required to complete the Ben Calf Robe upgrading program varies from student to student. Applicants are assessed to ensure that initial placement in courses is appropriate to their academic skill level. The program is tailored to meet the needs of Aboriginal students by integrating Aboriginal content and traditions within the classroom. Students are enrolled in core academic and culturally specific courses and have the opportunity to participate in a cultural camp each spring. High school level courses within the program are Alberta Education accredited courses, or equivalencies.

What you need to get in to the Ben Calf Robe Academic Upgrading Program at NorQuest College?
Applicants must be a minimum 17 years of age. To apply, they must submit either an Alberta Education High School Transcript (or) if they are returning to school after an absence of one or more years are required to complete a NorQuest College Assessment (Placement Testing). Applicants must attend an admission interview.
